Former USSR Countries Region

During many years under the auspice of SAE former USSR countries region, Federation of Greek Community Association carries out a very important task of restoring justice concerning USSR Greeks. At the last AGOOR convention in June 2007 in Rostov-on-Don (the South of Russia) I.Savvidi, the Coordinator for Former USSR countries region, the president of AGOOR confirmed again that this task remains one of the main directions in the work of Region and Federation.

Under the auspices of SAE Coordinator for the former USSR countries Region an international memorial and documentary traveling exhibition «Pontus: Right to remember» takes place in Russia and CIS countries. Organizers of the exhibition are: Federation of Greek Community Associations of Russia, Federation of Greek Associations of Ukraine, «Commonwealth» Ltd. Russian-Greek business center.
